About
Hi, I'm Marie MacLeod—a 41-year-old nature lover, adventurer, and photographer discovering the beauty of following new passions.
After spending many years as an elementary school teacher, I decided it was time to chase a different dream. Photography has become one of the ways I slow down, appreciate the world around me, and capture the little moments that often go unnoticed.
I'm not a professional photographer, and I don't have expensive equipment or advanced editing software. What I do have is a reliable camera, a love for the outdoors, and an eye for finding beauty in unexpected places. Whether it's a peaceful Ozark stream, a weathered old barn, towering forests, rolling pastures, or a breathtaking sunrise painting the sky, I believe nature tells its own story—and I'm simply there to preserve it.
Every photograph in my collection is genuine, captured just as I experienced it. My hope is that these images bring a little peace, inspire adventure, and remind others to slow down and appreciate the incredible beauty that's all around us.
Thank you for joining me on this new chapter. I'm so glad you're here.
